This weekend I went to Taganana, a village of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Taganana belongs to the district of Anaga, whose name comes from the word Anagan, which means "surrounded by mountains".
It is a very old village and almost all the houses are white with green doors and windows, with a traditional environment and stone mills. Around you just see the sea and the mountains. Beautiful!
At the bottom are the Tachero and Roque de las Bodegas beaches.
A funny fact is that in this small town there is a street called Portugal apparently in honor of the Portuguese who worked there in sugarcane. Did not expect this!
